Photoshop PSD 3 layer scratched overlay with template

![]() | BOTTOM LAYER TEMPLATE This is the template you will use to cut out your own paper DO YOU KNOW..you can create your own dotty grunge paper by downloading my overlay on the halloween page | |||
![]() | MIDDLE LAYER Add your own paper to this layer. With this layer still selected press ctrl and click once on the bottom layer You will notice a selection has been marked out on your paper layer, it looks a bit like marching ants go to the top bar of your program and click on select then go down the menu to inverse this will inverse the selection to the outside, the part we want to cut away back on the top menu bar click on edit then down the menu to cut you should now have your paper shape. | |||
![]() | You are almost finished,As we no longer need the bottom layer you can delete it if you wish Right click on the bottom layer, a menu will pop up go down the menu and click on delete layer Now we need to merge the remaining two layers together look at your layer palette and click back on the top layer, you will notice two boxes on the left one has an eye in it and the other what looks like a small brush, and on the next layer just an eye in one box and an empty box next to it, click on the empty box and a small chain link will appear, we have now linked both layers, go back up to the top menu bar of your program and click on layer and down the new menu to merge layers. You now have your new piece of paper, save as a png file. | |||
